Being an avid comic book fan, Arrow has emerged as one of my favorite action/ sci-fi shows of all time. After the success of Smallville, WB has yet another winner. Based on the DC comic book character Green Arrow, the series unravels the life of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen when he returns to Starling City after being marooned on an Island for five years. The show depicts both his present and his time on the island. His return marks the arrival of a hooded vigilante in Starling who has taken up the mantle of fighting crime and ending corruption in the city using his trusty bow and arrow.
